Ferrari Monza "SP2 "Mansory

Ferrari Monza SP2 Mansory Review
When it comes to the tuning scene, it's hard to find a more controversial aftermarket specialist than Mansory.

They spawned some of the wildest builds in the business, catering to a niche group looking for eccentric designs.

We think that the Ferrari Monza SP2 has been a unique speedster since its inception.

However, one owner decided to overhaul it further by including red exhaust tips among other details.

The Italian-made roofless model marks Mansory's new Bespoke program, tailored to exclusive cars made in limited numbers.

Ferrari only built 499 units of the Monza SP1 and SP2, with this being a more "practical" car because it had a passenger seat.

For their latest project, the tuner combines the Rosso Corsa main color with black stripes and carbon fiber pieces as part of an aerodynamic package.

The owner wanted an asymmetrical design and asked Mansory to paint the buttresses on the driver's side black.

The seats are also black, complete with striking red seat belts.

Those red accents are also used in the oddest places, like on the two carbon fiber side mirror cap fins, as well as the front air intake and rear diffuser.

Gone are the OEM rims as the tuner opted for a custom-made lightweight forged set, measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear, wrapped in 275/30 ZR21 and 335/25 ZR22 tires respectively.

The rear wheels receive more power from the V12 engine as Mansory updated its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated unit.

It now produces a massive 830 horsepower and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque after installing a new exhaust system and upgraded air intake.

Of course, this custom project can also be easily adapted for the single-seater Monza SP1, as they are essentially the same car but with side panel covers, where you'll find the passenger seat on the SP2.

Through the Mansory Bespoke program, the tuner wants to say that there are no limits when it comes to personalizing your limited production car because the customization possibilities are almost unlimited.
