World-renowned Porsche tuner Gemballa has created what can be probably considered the most aggressive-looking and completely custom Ferrari Enzo on the planet. Named the MIG-U1, only 25 examples will be built, each getting their own special touches to ensure their uniqueness. Most noticeable is the car's carbon fiber aerodynamic program that amazingly resembles Ferrari's FXX, otherwise known as the 800-plus horsepower Enzo-based gentleman's racer.
Each side is replete with a replacement piece bent on improving the Maranello-prescribed downforce specifications. The front and rear spoilers push down the Enzo -- excuse us, the MIG-U1 -- a further 77 lbs and 187 lbs, respectively. Its spoiler is active, too. Once the car is 120 km, it lifts further up for more downforce. The kit also aids in cooling the V-12 powerplant and massive ceramic brakes. All told, the MIG is 3.14 in. wider up front and 4 in. wider out back.
Designers implemented a handy electro-hydraulic height adjustment system to lift the expensive composite body 1.7 inches for a speed bump or parking lot navigation. Forged alloy wheels, 19 in. up front and 20 in. at the rear save a total of 35 lbs compared to the stock wheels.
Its 6.0L V-12 gets only a slight ECU upgrade and exhaust replacement that together alloys the motor to make 700 hp, 40 hp over stock. Inside, designers made sure the best leather Ultrasuede dons nearly every square inch. Where no leather is found, carbon fiber takes its place. No word on performance stats or pricing, but both should be quite staggering.
